Privacy Policy — NoRush

NoRush ("the app") helps people keep a weekly day of rest together with friends, and in
small groups you create together. This policy explains what the app collects and why.
What we collect
- Your name and chosen emoji — entered at onboarding. Stored on your device and
shared with your friends and any groups you create or join.
- Email address (only if you link one) — used to verify a working address via a
one-time sign-in link. We do not use it for marketing.
- An anonymous account identifier — created automatically so your data syncs across
your sessions. No password is required.
- Friend and group content — your friends list, the groups you create/join, "rest call"
activity, messages you post (Blessings, rest-call posts and comments), photos you choose to share
during a rest call, and emoji reactions.
- Device push token — so we can notify your friends when someone calls for rest.
- Reports you file — content you report for moderation, reviewed by us or, for group
content, visible to that group's leader.
The app does not collect location, contacts, analytics/advertising identifiers, or
payment information.
How we use it
- To run the core features: friends, groups, messaging, photo sharing, and rest-call notifications.
- To verify your email address when you choose to link one.
- To review reported content and enforce our no-tolerance policy for objectionable content.
Service providers
The app uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud
Messaging) to store friend and group data, photos, and deliver notifications. Data is processed on Google's
infrastructure under Google's terms. We do not sell your data.
Your choices and rights
- Block any friend or group member to hide their content; report
content for review (we act on reports within 24 hours).
- Delete your own messages and posts at any time.
- Remove a friend or leave a group to end that connection.
- Reset all data (Settings → Data) clears your on-device data.
- To request deletion of your account and associated cloud data, contact us at the email below.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
